I rejoice heartily in the Lord,

  in my God is the joy of my soul;

For he has clothed me with a robe of salvation,

  and wrapped me in a mantle of justice,

  like a bride bedecked with her jewels.

Can we not think of this passage as speaking to the priesthood of Christ?  Jesus Christ is God's salvation, Jesus Christ is God's justice.  It is Christ who wraps himself around us like a robe.  It is Jesus who is our mantle, making us an acceptable people to God the Father.  Thus the Word exhorts us: "Put on the Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 13.14) for the high priest will not act against our will.  Allow Christ the high priest to clothe you with himself so that you may become more beautiful to God than a bride bedecked with her jewels.
