Isaiah 55.1-11

Thus says the Lord: All you who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come, receive grain and eat; come, without paying and without cost, drink wine and milk! Why spend your money for what is not bread, your wages for what fails to satisfy? (v1-2)

Therefore do not worry, saying 'What will we eat' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear?'  But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Luke 6.31-33)

Heed me, and you shall eat well, you shall delight in rich fare. (v2)

Let anyone who is thirsty come to me, and let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, 'Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water.' (John 7.37)

Come to me heedfully, listen, that you may have life. (v3)

But as for that in good soil, these are the ones who, when they hear the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit in patient endurance. (Luke 8.15)

Let the wicked man forsake his thoughts. (v6)

What comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this is what defiles. For out of the heart come evil intentions, murder, adultery, fornication, theft, false witness, slander. These are what defile a person. (Matthew 15.18-20)

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways above your ways and my thoughts above your thoughts. (v8-9)

Indeed, what human mind could have perceived God's intention to send his only son to us as our teacher and redeemer? Is that not what God is referring to here? The following passages reveal it to us.

For just as from the heavens the rain and snow come down and do not return there till they have watered the earth, making it fertile and fruitful, giving seed to the one who sows and bread to the one who eats, so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; my word shall not return to me void, but shall do my will, achieving the end for which I sent it. (v10-11)

Jesus is the word, and fulfilled perfectly the father's will.
